CALHN - Central Adelaide Palliative Care Service Proposed Extension From Five to Seven Days

A proposal has been put forward by CALHN for CAPCS to move from a five day service to a seven day service to increase access to care for community patients on weekends and public holidays. more>

The government announced its hostile anti-worker agenda for a new salaried enterprise agreement at the Enterprise Bargaining meeting held today. The government’s agenda is to minimise the influence members have on their daily working lives through consultation, make it easier to sack public servants, all while reducing your ability to dispute their mistakes. more>

CAFHS: Feedback Sought on Clinical Documents

The Public Service Association (PSA) has received the following documents from Child and Family Health Service (CAFHS) management. There are a significant number of documents. The PSA has been advised that staff affected will be given two hours of work time to review the documents. more>

Country Arts SA Contracts Dispute

On 20 January 2020 the PSA attended the SA Employment Tribunal on behalf of PSA members in relation to the dispute about contracts of employment and access to the Enterprise Agreement Redeployment, Retraining and Redundancy provisions. more>

Parliament House Enterprise Bargaining 2020

As members may be aware your final pay rise under your current Enterprise Agreement occurred on the first full pay period on or after 1 October 2019. Future pay rises and maintenance and improvements of conditions will be through a successor Enterprise Agreement. more>

DPTI Restructures Update | PSA Leadership to Meet with the Chief Executive

Thank you to the members who provided feedback to the proposed ‘Group 2’ restructures. We received extensive responses, questions and concerns, including the impact of continual restructures creating change fatigue and the impact this is having on the mental health of staff. The other issues raised were excessive workloads, the process of change and a number of specific questions that related to Road and Marine Services. more>

Oral Health Therapist Title

The Public Service Association (PSA) met with SADS ED, Mark Chilvers and SADS senior management this week to discuss the proposal that SADS staff with a Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) who are currently employed as Dental Therapists, be employed as Oral Health Therapists(OHT). more>

More Safety Issues from Privatised Remand Centre

PSA General Secretary Nev Kitchin has again slammed the government for risking PSA members’ safety by slashing staff. This follows the discovery this morning of 0.22 calibre bullets this morning in the clothing of a prisoner who had transferred from the Adelaide Remand Centre. more>
