Outpatient Medical Imaging Dispute

11 July 2017

As the principal public sector union the PSA was the first union to lodge a dispute over the premature release of the tender process to provide the Outpatient Medical Imaging Service at the new RAH. There is currently a hearing at the South Australian Employment Tribunal. The PSA will update members with the results of this hearing, including meeting with members this afternoon to discuss the next steps.

As part of the dispute the PSA is demanding the full retraction of the tender process to allow for genuine consultation in accordance with Clause 26 (Consultative Processes) of the SA Public Sector Wages Parity Enterprise Agreement: Salaried 2014.

The PSA is also seeking the Minister for Health’s commitment to consider any internal proposal as part of any tender process.
