PSA Members in Dispute With Department of The Premier And Cabinet Over ICT Outsourcing

01 May 2017

A dispute has now been lodged with the Industrial Relations Commission of South Australia, and a hearing is scheduled for Thursday 4 May 2017.

The focus of the dispute is around the continued lack of meaningful consultation for staff impacted by this transition; the refusal of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) to reconsider their stance on not facilitating opportunities for staff who do not wish to leave the public service; and the ongoing concern that the lack of consultation has resulted in incorrect scoping in some areas.

Impacted members who are still unsure if they have been appropriately scoped or wish to remain in the public service but are unsure of future opportunities are urged to take advantage of the increased decision period from 2 weeks to 4 weeks as negotiated by the PSA until this dispute has been resolved.
