JOURNEY ACCIDENT COVER

It's for your protection and free to all financial members!

It's a fact of life, accidents do happen. While damage to motor vehicles and third parties are covered by motor vehicle and third party insurance, until now you would need expensive, personal  insurance to safeguard against loss of income if you were injured while travelling to or from work.

In South Australia, Workers' Compensation no longer covers employees injured while travelling to and from work.  That includes accidents that may occur whilst dropping off children at school, or day care centres, while travelling to or from work, or other activities related to work.

PSA members ARE covered though. If you are injured while travelling to or from work, (including dropping off or picking up children from school or day care), during your lunch or coffee breaks and any other authorised break, including participating in rehabilitation programs or training courses, you will be covered.

Injured members can receive weekly payments of up to $1200, plus death and disability coverage of up to $100,000.

You need extra protection, so don't be caught short. Ensure you are a Public Service Association/CPSU (SPSF) SA Branch member today.

You can enjoy the benefits, and have peace of mind.
