Industrial Team structure - The union has industrial officers who deal with membership issues and provide industrial and policy advice. Industrial Officers are overseen by a Chief Industrial Officer. 

Industrial information - The union keeps copies of most relevant written documents covering the terms and conditions of employment of members across the State public sector. Much of this information is available on this website. Industrial staff will advise members and Worksite Reps of their rights and entitlements, and will also give interpretations of formal documents if there is any question in relation to conditions of employment. There is also available to representatives and to members a fairly extensive library housing pertinent industrial relations reference material. 

Specialist services - The union employs a number of specialist officers with expertise in the areas of Equal Opportunity and women's issues, Occupational Health and Safety, and Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation. After initial assessment, issues of a complex or on-going nature are referred to these officers for determination. 

Industrial information is distributed to members through PSA 'Briefs', which are ad hoc bulletins on topical issues sent to members by email or distributed by PSA Worksite Representatives. The union's bi-monthly newspaper, the Public Sector Review advises and informs members about a wide range of matters, including issues currently affecting or being dealt with by the union, major trends or changes in the public service, details of current campaigns and the latest news and developments in the union's fostered activities (eg. Holiday Homes). 

Administration and Finance - The Administration and Finance Unit provides a range of services to members, including taking bookings for Holiday Homes, providing Discount Services products and assisting with subscription queries and other membership matters.
