FLEXIBLE WORKING DETAILS

Flexible working arrangements were introduced into the SA Public Service in 2000. Included in the arrangements are purchased leave, flextime, working from home, part time work and job sharing, and compressed weeks.

Government policy relating to flexible working arrangements in the public service is available here whilst the relevant Commissioner's Standard is here.

Note that the application of the arrangements is governed by departmental policies within the frame-work provided by the above documents.
