HILLS COMMUNITY HEALTH PROCESS
The
Public Service Association (PSA) has received advice from Country
Health SA Local Health Network (CHSALHN) that a new integrated approach
to health service delivery is to commence.
The new cluster will include health centres located at Mt. Barker, Kingscote, and Victor Harbor.
The process will be based upon the following:
Respect for all roles and knowledge existing within the community health services.
Maintenance of existing services and continued delivery of high quality health services.
Commitment to actively engaging, including and supporting staff through the process.
Commitment to actively engaging communities as part of the process.
Aiming for the best fit in relation to staff resources and retention of existing staff resources.
CHSALHN has established a consultative process with PSA involvement.
PSA members who are interested in being involved in this process are
encouraged to express their interest via email to avw@cpsu.asn.au
