SERVICES SA - MEMBERS WIN
Members will be able to accrue up to 22.5 hours of TOIL prior to working overtime.
Plus the Monday and Friday restriction to access TOIL removed.
Members from Services SA were unanimous in their in their condemnation
of the trial implemented by Services SA, to accrue only 15 hours TOIL
prior to being directed to work overtime.
The PSA Industrial Officers and Worksite Representatives had many
meetings with management in an attempt to resolve the matter. Members
had offered to agree to accumulate 22.5 TOIL hours only, therefore
foregoing the provision of accumulating up to 75 hours TOIL as
prescribed in the South Australian Government Wages Parity (Salaried)
Enterprise Agreement 2010, Clause 19. No agreement was reached,
Services SA refused to compromise.
The Public Service Association (PSA) notified Services SA of an
Industrial Dispute, with the intent of commencing industrial action on
Monday 19 December 2011.
The PSA received correspondence from Services SA dated 14 December 2011 agreeing to members demands as outlined above.
