The union is a democratic organisation built around a structure which incorporates and encourages direct membership input. To get the most out of the union, members are encouraged to attend and participate in meetings. 

Detailed information about PSA/CPSU meetings and activities is sent to all PSA/CPSU Worksite representatives so that they can provide details to all members at their worksite.

During specific campaigns, there are regular meetings of PSA/CPSUWorksite representatives to hear reports on progress of campaigns and to provide membership feedback.

Of course, the Annual General meeting of the Association is the traditional avenue for direct input.
