Further to the PSA information brief dated 26 February 2007, the Department of Health have re-considered the classification of the new Community Rehabilitation Workers and have now decided that they will be classified within the Operational Services Stream, of the SA Public Sector Salaried Employees (Interim) Award 1994, as level two (2).

Now that the dispute has been resolved the recruitment processes for all positions for the CRC at Elpida House can proceed.

The CRC Consultative Committee will re-convene in three months after Elpida House is operational to undertake a review of the service.
