PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN CONSOLIDATION PROJECT 2009
The Public Service Association (PSA) attended the Department of Health Procurement and Supply Chain Consolidation Project Consultation Meeting on Thursday 12th November 2009. Discussions at the meeting focused mainly on the draft Organisational Structure. The draft structure will be provided to staff early next week followed by a road show where officers from the Department will talk staff through the draft structure. There will be a four week consultation period ending on Monday 14th December. The Department of Health are intending to brief staff on the outcome of the consultation prior to Christmas and the various organisations will be advised in early January 2010. The Department is still waiting for advice from the Department of Treasury and Finance in regards to TVSPs. PSA members should provide feedback on the draft Organisational Structure to the PSA by Wednesday 9th December 2009, members are also able to provide feedback directly to the Department.
