6 ADDITIONAL STAFF FOR FAMILIES SA CONCESSIONS AND SUPPORT SERVICES.

On Thursday 29 September 2010,  Public Service Association (PSA) Worksite Representatives and Industrial Organiser Michael Collins, met with management to discuss workload issues currently affecting PSA members in Concessions and Support Services. At the meeting management confirmed the following:

Six additional staff will be employed to assist in managing the increased workloads.

Sufficient time and resources will be spent training these staff.

Staff will not be directly or indirectly influenced to work through their designated breaks. Any concerns in relation to this will be addressed through fortnightly team meetings. Management will confirm this in writing to all staff.

Agreed consultative mechanisms have been put in place to address any workload issues that may emerge in the future.

The PSA is keen to hear from members experiencing workload issues and will keep members informed of any progress.
