 In mid-1990 the union initiated a discounted theatre ticket service which has proved very popular. The discounts offered to members have generally been in the 20 - 30 per cent range. The PSA/CPSU is able to offer the discounts by block booking. Members can book through us in person, by letter, phone or fax and can collect their tickets from PSA/CPSU headquarters in person or have them mailed direct. Block booking does not mean that you have to meet 49 others in the Festival Theatre car park on a wet Monday night! Over the years, PSA/CPSU members have enjoyed, at reduced rates, such productions as "Riverdance", "The Boy from Oz", "The Phantom of the Opera", "Shout" and "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", special events like Womad and performances by international artists like Robbie Williams. Note that all PSA/CPSU members can purchase discounted tickets at any Wallis cinema on presentation of the Ambassador Card. No vouchers are required. Keep your eye on this page and the Public
