 FLINDERS UNIVERSITY
ENTERPRISE BARGAINING 2008

Conditions of employment and salary increases for members at Flinders University up to the last increase on 21 June 2008 are contained within the union/management negotiated Flinders University Collective Workplace Agreement 2006-2008.

The PSA/CPSU has commenced planning for the next Agreement. This involves the participation of members at the worksite. Members will later be sent a survey form.

It Is important that all worksites have a Worksite Representative (nomination form available from PSA website). CPSU Worksite Representatives meet in a Flinders University Worksite Representative Committee (WRC) to discuss current issues and to plan what should be included in the next Agreement for improved conditions and pay increases.

The WRC will then elect a representative to be on the Bargaining Committee, to represent CPSU (PSA) members. Time off with pay is allowed for this.

Tony Nugent, who has been the local representative as well as the Chairperson of the Joint Union Council, is concentrating on his studies from now on and has stated he will not be available.

It is imperative therefore that Flinders University worksites now have worksite representatives and commence to elect their new representative.
