METROPOLITAN HOSPITAL EFFICIENCY AND PERFORMANCE REVIEW On Wednesday 31 October 2007, Public Service Association (PSA) Industrial Officer Dolly Costello attended the Department of Health, Metropolitan Hospitals Efficiency and Performance Review Steering Committee meeting. The meeting was held as part of the Consultation Process with the PSA and other unions. Paxtons & Partners have been engaged to undertake the review which includes The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Lyell McEwin Health Service (LMHS), Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) and the Repatriation General Hospital (RGH). SCOPE OF THE PROJECT The scope includes identifying factors impacting on each hospital's ability to deliver services efficiently; operate substantial health services; and be financially viable.
