DOM CARE, DO THE RIGHT THING!
Public Service Association (PSA) Para-Medical Aide (PMA) members will commence Industrial Action on Monday 11th February 2008. Members are determined to implement the Withdrawal of Goodwill as a result of Domiciliary Care SA's (DCSA) continued refusal to commit to members request for additional hours. So, what does this mean? Withdrawal of Goodwill is also referred to as "work to rule". This means that members do not perform any duty that is not contained in their Job and Person Specification. This means that clients will still receive a service, and members will only do what they are paid to do. Examples of "Withdrawal of Goodwill" are as follows:
