WORKCOVER CAMPAIGN

The Rann Government's WorkCover legislation was last night passed by the House of Assembly, and will now be considered by the Upper House.

After today, the next sitting of Parliament is 29 April.

As part of the campaign against proposed cuts to injured workers benefits, PSA Billboards are now in place around Adelaide.

The Billboards highlight the important and varied work that PSA members carry out in the community and make it clear that nobody asks to be injured at work.

Images used on the billboards can be accessed at the PSA WorkCover campaign page here

The PSA billboards are the initial part of a broad campaign against the cuts.

Members should contact their local Member of Parliament to voice their concerns, and also urge them to pass your concerns on to Premier Rann.

Enquiries to Peter Christopher, Chief Industrial Officer at pgc@cpsu.asn.au or on 8205 3200.
