TASK FORCE
COUNTRY
HEALTH PLAN
The
PSA/CPSU has been asked to provide a nominee to the Taskforce
established by the Minister of Health into aspects of the Country
Health Plan.
The Taskforce is to provide advice to the
Minister into the service profile of the 43 GP Plus Emergency
Hospitals and 2 Remote Service sites.
The Taskforce headed by
Mr Peter Blacker, comprised of 13 organisations including the PSA,
will visit country locations where changes will occur over the next
ten years as a result of the Plan.
The main focus of the
Taskforce will be to undertake an analysis of the best way forward
for government when implementing the plan for Country Health SA
The
PSA as a major stakeholder in Country Health SA, is seeking a nominee
to make a contribution to the Taskforce's deliberations.
