"NO EMPLOYEE CAN BE DISADVANTAGED"

The PSA has been instrumental in ensuring those effected employees that have recently transitioned across to Shared Services SA, which has resulted in a change in pay cycles, have not been disadvantaged.

For example, Department for Education and Children's Services who transitioned to Shared Services SA today will not be financially disadvantaged as a result of change in the pay cycle, thanks to the efforts of the PSA.

However, it is expected that any fines or penalty charges from financial institutions that may occur as a result of the change in pay dates will be immediately reimbursed by the employer.

The PSA has written to Shared Services SA regarding this matter. Should any member receive any penalty charges from their financial institution, it is essential that the PSA is informed immediately to enable the matter to be resolved.

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact PSA Senior Industrial Officer Simon Johnson on email spj@cpsu.asn.au or phone 8205 3261
