On
Wednesday 26 November 2008 the PSA received a response from Under
Treasurer Jim Wright agreeing to the four matters put forward by PSA
members at the meeting held at the PSA on Monday 24 November 2008.
These matters were in response to the latest Government offer of 20
November 2008.
As these matters have now been agreed, members should lift all bans and limitations. The PSA has written to the Department of Treasury and Finance indicating the expectation of members that the custom and practice followed with previous employees being transitioned is adhered to with health employees. That is, employees are notified in writing that they are in scope and given reasonable notice before any physical relocation occurs (6 weeks). Should proclamation occur sooner, this notice period needs to be adhered to. Members, particularly in outer metro areas, need reasonable time to make arrangements for the impending change to their worksite.
