DISABILITY SA ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW UPDATE
The Public Service Association has representatives on the Steering Committee overseeing the Administration Review. Your representatives are Industrial Officer Sue Cummins and Worksite Representatives Janet Puplett (metro) and Janet Hughes (country). All communiques sent out by DSA in relation to the above review have been agreed to by the Steering Committee. You should be aware that the PSA agreed to the HR Transition Principles in early December 2008, so long as there was an assessment process to assess the correct classification of ASO-1 positions in scope of the review. This process occurred and as an outcome at least 85% of those staff who applied for assessment will be reclassified to ASO-2 level. Successful applicants are being notified in writing from 20 February 2009. Those staff who were unsuccessful, as the positions were still deemed to be at the ASO-1 level will be individually advised in person. The Service Delivery Model is out for consultation and the commencement of the matching process of matching staff to the relevant position will commence shortly and planned to be completed by 27 February 2009. Administrative Officers in scope should be notified in writing of the outcome of the matching process by 6 March 2009. However, where there may be a change of location, notification may extend beyond the 6 March 2009 date to allow for any processes to occur in accordance to the HR Transition Principles.
