PIRSA/UNION CONSULTATIVE FORUM

The latest forum was held on the 30th of April. A number of PSA workplace representatives attended from the various sections within PIRSA. The Director of Organisational Change and Development, Erm Ranieri, gave a briefing concerning a Business Support Review being conducted by Ernst & Young. Budget Savings and a review of the current Employee Assistant Program (EAP) provider. Discussions also centred on the potential number of TVSP's to be offered which at the time of the meeting was unknown. PIRSA has about 1400 FTE's and only 16 redeployees. Warwick Cramey provided an employee relations briefing to discuss suggestions about our next Wages Parity Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and an overview of attraction and retention polices.

Steve Archer gave an update on Shared services and PSA Acting General Secretary, Nev Kitchin discussed the PSA campaign to save the Upper house and preliminary thoughts about our 2009 Enterprise Bargaining agreement with reference to the Draft Voluntary Flexible Workplace Agreement (VFWA) involving Fisheries Inspectors.
