Given that some of the processes will be new to some staff, who have transitioned from other agencies, SSSA will be looking for the system to be progressively deployed with full implementation by July 2010. PSA will continue to be consulted through the WCC. SPECIAL LEAVE WITH PAY FOR THE CARE OF A SICK CHILD The PSA has received reports form members that their application for Special Leave with Pay for the care of a sick child have been rejected. Members are entitled to three days special leave with pay for the care of a sick child and members are able to access this special Leave with pay prior to using Family Carers Leave. The PSA received assurances from Government and the Industrial Relations Commission that the inclusion of this provision in the Enterprise Agreement would not prevent members from accessing the three days special leave with pay. Any
members within Shared Services SA who have had their application
rejected, should in the first instance discuss their issue with
Senior Industrial Officer Dolly Costello on HEALTH RELATED CLASSIFICATION REVIEWS The PSA sought an update on the ASO 2 classification reviews for Payroll and Accounts positions in Health.
