FAMILIES SA C3MS ROLL OUT

The Public Service Association (PSA) has been contacted by members on numerous occasions, raising concerns about the roll out of C3MS in District Centres (DC) across the state. PSA contacted David Waterford, Executive Director, Families SA, requesting an urgent meeting. PSA Industrial Officer Vanessa Ravenhill then met with Marj Ellis (Regional Director), Robyn Skilbeck and John Parker ( C3MS Implementation Team members)  and Michael Green (Supervisor, Elizabeth DC) on Thursday 24 September.

PSA outlined the issues that had been raised at several Worksite Representatives meetings over the past months and summarised the discussion held with the Executive Director at the last Industrial Relations Forum in August 2009. PSA indicated that it was very concerned for the safety and welfare of members should the roll out continue without addressing the many outstanding issues raised. Discussions primarily focused on the potential increase in workloads and decreasing ability of members to respond appropriately to the complex issues of families and children.

It was agreed that the details of the C3MS Intranet site would be redistributed to all staff and provided to the PSA.

It was also agreed to hold regular meetings with appropriate Departmental Representatives to provide a forum for PSA Worksite Representatives to raise any concerns, on behalf of members . Details of those meetings will be released to Worksite Representatives as soon as they are arranged.
