FAMILIIES SA CRISIS RESPONSE UNIT BANS
Public Service Association (PSA) members in Families SA Crisis Response Unit met on Thursday 15 October 2009 to discuss the response to PSA letter of 8 October. PSA members passed the following resolution: "This meeting of members accepts the establishment of a working party to work through those aspects of the system that require further attention provided the membership is expanded to include PSA representation from other affected worksites. This will enable the working party to identify and prioritise action on matters applicable to all C3MS users in District Centres. Further, this meeting of members rejects the proposal from DFC to recommence use of C3MS and will continue to enter data in an alternative system until the issues already identified, regarding CRU specific business, in particular intake and investigation phase (not case management) have been acknowledged, prioritise and rectified to the satisfaction of PSA members employed at CRU." The PSA will continue discussions with the Department of Families and Communities and Families SA to ensure that all issues are addressed and remedied so that an effective system is available to support members in the provision of vital services to those in need. 16 October 2009 |
