CRISIS RESPONSE UNIT INDUSTRIAL ACTION UPDATE

The PSA has received a response to correspondence sent to the Chief Executive of Department for Families and Communities regarding the industrial action. Please click here to read response (needs a link) Additional information has been sought from the department regarding the benefits of the new system and an update on the resolution of issues raised by staff using C3MS.

PSA Worksite Representatives in Families SA met on Tuesday 13 October 2009 to discuss the industrial action taken by PSA members employed in Crisis Response Unit as a result of the implementation of C3MS (electronic case management system).

PSA Worksite Representatives employed in Families SA unanimously passed the following resolution:

"this meeting of Families SA Worksite Representatives endorses and provides "in principle" support for the industrial action taken by PSA members in Crisis Response Unit regarding C3MS.

Further, this meeting of Worksite Representatives directs PSA to organise worksite meetings for PSA members in affected areas to consider what further actions need to occur to address the outstanding issues with usage of C3MS."

PSA members in Crisis Response Unit will meet on Thursday 15 October to consider the department's response. A further update will be provided to members after this meeting has occurred.
