FAMILIES SA CRISIS RESPONSE TO C3MS

Public Service Association (PSA) members at Crisis Response Unit met on Friday 30 October 2009 to discuss the latest developments to the implementation of C3MS and to review their industrial bans.

Members unanimously endorsed the following resolution;

"PSA members at Crisis Response Unit acknowledge the recent cooperation demonstrated by the Department to resolve the numerous concerns raised by members in relation to C3MS.

Members are committed to working with the Department to resolve all current and arising issues with the implementation of C3MS.

As such, members have accepted the offered "on ground support" but require weekly reviews.

Members will temporarily defer the Industrial ban on C3MS implementation on the proviso that;

1. Members only log into C3MS once they are confident and competent in the ability to use C3MS and can revert to CIS at anytime.

2. That "Play Pen" is updated with the latest changes to C3MS.

3. That training and support will continue as long as it is needed.

4. 2 ICT workers be provided to assist with C3MS data entry.

5. Members do not support the further roll out of C3MS to District Centres as this will impact negatively on Crisis Response members. Should the roll out continue, members will impose Industrial Bans."

Members are committed to working towards a resolution to the numerous issues related to C3MS and acknowledged that some progress has been made. However, should the Department baulk on any of it's commitment's or members' demands PSA members will impose industrial bans again.
