WORKSITE REPRESENTATIVES ENDORSE GOVERNMENT EB OFFER
PSA Worksite Representatives were briefed yesterday on the details of the Government's Enterprise Bargaining offer. A packed to capacity Adelaide meeting at the PSA and a regional phone link-up overwhelmingly endorsed a proposal to support the offer. 'That this meeting of PSA Worksite Representatives recommends the EB offer to PSA members, noting that as a total package the criteria set for negotiations, including a universal increase from 1 October 2009, protection of job security and existing conditions, a one off payment and many other significant improvements for members.' The above motion received over 99% support. Details of the offer were contained in an earlier Brief issued by the PSA. It is now expected that the draft Enterprise Agreement will be made available shortly and that formal voting to accept or reject the proposed Agreement will occur next week.
