ADELAIDE HEALTH SERVICE - UPDATE No. 2
FORMAL CONSULTATION DOCUMENT
SA
Health is reforming the administration of the public health system,
with the Central Northern Adelaide Health Service (CNAHS) and Southern
Adelaide Health Service (SAHS) will combine to form the Adelaide Health
Service (AHS).
The Public Service Association (PSA) is attending the Adelaide Health Service Consultative Committee Meetings.
A formal consultation document
has now been released. The PSA members now have the opportunity to
provide feedback by close of business on Monday 21 June 2010 via email
adelaidehealthservice@health.sa.gov.au and/or via PSA Industrial
Officer Sue Cummins on email sc@cpsu.asn.au before midday on Monday 21
June 2010.
The PSA has provided some initial feedback to Mr Martin Turner, Acting
Chief Executive Officer of AHS, and are concerned about the statement
in the bulletin released by Mr Turner that many of the issues
identified in the initial responses from unions and senior management
of the two regional health services will not be considered until post
implementation (1 July 2010) once the senior management positions with
the proposed structure are made.
The PSA will release an Information Update to inform PSA Members of any pertinent information.
