MASS MEETING OF MEMBERS

DATE: TUESDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2004

TIME: 12.30 p.m.

VENUE: DOM POLSKI

232 ANGUS STREET, ADELAIDE

PSA worksite representatives overwhelming rejected the government wages offer.  Members do not believe the offer represents a fair deal for public sector workers.

Across the public sector members are taking industrial action to show government they are serious about receiving a reasonable wages offer.

PSA negotiators, after consultation with Wages Committee, Executive & Council members, resolved that a double digit offer of less than 12% would be recommended to members if offered by the Government. The Government have not shown the same willingness to move their offer forward.

COME TO THIS IMPORTANT RALLY, SUPPORT THE CAMPAIGN TO ACHIEVE A FAIR DEAL.

Transport to and from work sites is available.

For information on transport please contact Brenda Mousis on 8205 3232 or e-mail bm@cpsu.asn.au
