IRC CONFERENCE

Government negotiators and PSA Officials appeared before Deputy President Hampton of the South Australian Industrial Relations Commission today to report back on the current wages dispute.

The Association advised the Commission of those vital public services that will be given exemption from the Full Day Stoppage on Friday, 26 March 2004.

Deputy President Hampton deferred any consideration of formal Recommendations as sought by Government that the stoppage on Friday, 26 March 2004 not proceed.

The Voluntary Conference will resume on Tuesday, 23 March 2004.
