News Flash EB 2004 - IRC UPDATE On 23 July 2004, Commissioner Doyle issued recommendations that Government amend misleading documentation sent out to employees. Government did not do this. On 28 July 2004, PSA advised the Industrial Relations Commission that Government had not followed Commissioner Doyle's recommendation. Commissioner Doyle called for a further Conciliation Conference at 3.30pm Wednesday, 28 July 2004 Commissioner Doyle will issue a statement on Thursday, 29 July 2004. Until this statement is available it is inappropriate to comment on the confidential discussions that occurred during a Conciliation Conference, although it can be said that the short time available between a Conference and the posting out of the ballot limits the options that may be available to deal with the concerns identified.
