NOW HAVE YOUR SAY

This is the vote the Government did not want you to have.

The State Electoral Office posted ballots for the Government's proposed Parity Enterprise Agreement on Friday 30th July 2004.

The Government's offer falls far short of the PSA claim and is significantly less than what Government has offered other groups of Public Sector workers.

The Minister has refused to meet for over 6 months, and most employees have not even seen the 65 page document they are being asked to vote on. Agencies have not run information sessions for staff and some aspects of Government material have been found by the Industrial Relations Commission to be misleading.

The proposed Enterprise Agreement (EA) allows for redeployees' salaries to be pegged, meaning no pay rise for many redeployees

The offer, and the process, are simply not good enough.

The Government has made the Enterprise Agreement available to employees through the Internet.  Employees not able to access the document should contact their Human Resource area for a hard copy to be provided to them.  It is the employer's responsibility to ensure that all staff have access to the Government's proposed agreement.

The Industrial Relations Commission agreed with the PSA that employees needed to be balloted.

VOTE AND VOTE NO
