3.5% INTERIM AWARD PAYMENT UPDATE

The Industrial Registrar is scheduled to “Settle the Minutes” on Monday morning, 15 November 2004.

This is the last formal process necessary before payment is made to employees.

On that basis it is reasonable for employees to expect the 3.5% Interim Award payment before Christmas.

PSA has written to Chief Executives seeking this payment as soon as possible.

If the Government had not opposed the interim increase, you would have received your payment by now.


PSA SUBSCRIPTIONS UPDATE

Parity members will receive their 3.5% pay increase from the first pay period commencing on or after the 1 October 2004.

PSA members who pay their subscriptions by direct debit should note that the direct debits for December 2004 will include an adjustment for November subscriptions.
