"YOUR RIGHTS AT WORK ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR"

NATIONAL DAY OF COMMUNITY PROTEST

TUESDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2005

The Prime Minister's proposed Workplace Relations changes will affect you, your families and the community.

Awards, penalty rates, allowances, shift work payments and meal breaks, just to name a few basic entitlements, are under attack.

The Adelaide meeting will be held at Elder Park.

Regional South Australia is not excluded from these changes. It is imperative that you, your family and the community participate in the National Day of Protest.

For your information, the following Regional venues have been confirmed for the event:

    • Bordertown – Dukes Motor Inn, Dukes Highway

    • Ceduna – Community Hotel, 32 O'Loughlin Terrace

    • Millicent - Sportsmans Hotel, 72 George Street

    • Mt Gambier – South Gambier Football Club, Casterton Road

    • Murray Bridge – Bridgeport Hotel, 2 Bridge Street

    • Naracoorte – Naracoorte Hotel, 73 Ormerod Street

    • Pt Augusta – Central Augusta Sporting Club, 3 Hannagan Street

    • Pt Lincoln – Grand Tasman Hotel, 94 Tasman Terrace

    • Riverland – Berri Resort Hotel/Motel Riverview Drive

    • Roxby Downs – Roxby Downs Tavern, Richardson Place

    • Victor Harbor – Grosvenor Hotel, 40 Ocean Street

    • Whyalla – West Whyalla Football Club, Playford Avenue

A Sky Channel Broadcast will commence at 8.30am.
