PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEES.As
part of the PSA's goal of achieving the best results on behalf of
members, the PSA Professional Division has been established to focus
on issues raised by professionally qualified members. Meetings for the following professional groups are being arranged to feed into the Professional Industrial Committee – Social Workers, Psychologists, Medical Scientists, Radiographers, Legal Officers, Librarians and Occupational Therapists/Physiotheraphists/Speech Pathologists and Regional Professionals. If your profession isn't listed and you and your colleagues want to be involved, email professional@cpsu.asn.au A series of meetings will be held in the coming weeks to establish these committees. *** Reminder *** PSA Professional Division meeting on Friday 24 March 2006, 12 – 1pm Special
guest speaker Professor Barbara Pocock is an esteemed academic and
one of the PSA's expert witnesses in the historic paid
maternity/adoption leave decision. The last meeting was a huge
success, providing a forum to network with other members and the
Professional Division staff, and hear experts discuss issues
