PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEES.

The PSA is seeking Expressions of Interest from members wishing to participate in these committees.

To get the best results, the input and involvement of members is crucial.

You know your job and your profession better than anybody and are aware of the issues you face in the public sector and non government organisations (NGO's).

Librarians, Social Workers and Psychologists Industrial Committees have had their inaugural meetings.

The following are now being called,

Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists Industrial Committee.

VENUE: JIM OTTE ROOM, 2ND FLOOR, PSA BUILDING, 122 PIRIE STREET ADELAIDE

At this meeting it will be determined if this should be the one committee covering these 4 disciplines or be more discipline specific.

Medical Scientists Industrial Committee

Radiographers Industrial Committee

TIME: 10.30 AM
VENUE: EXECUTIVE ROOM, 5TH FLOOR, PSA BUILDING, 122 PIRIE STREET ADELAIDE

Legal Officers Industrial Committee


DATE: WEDNESDAY 3 MAY 2006
TIME: 4.30 PM
VENUE: JIM OTTE ROOM, 2ND FLOOR, PSA BUILDING, 122 PIRIE STREET ADELAIDE

If these times are not suitable but you wish to participate, please advise professional@cpsu.asn.au of your preferred date and time.

The PSA will be developing other committees on request. These can be discipline specific or a like group of disciplines, perhaps as per Career Groups.

Again contact professional@cpsu.asn.au with your requests and suggestions.

These dates have been set for the 2d meeting of the following Industrial Committees.

Social Workers  FRIDAY 5 MAY 2006, 12 NOON

Librarians  WEDNESDAY 10 MAY 2006, 4.00 PM – 5.00 PM

Psychologists  THURSDAY 11 MAY 2006, 4.00 PM

Again, these meetings will be held at the PSA, 122 Pirie Street,  Adelaide.

Please ensure that your fellow professionals are aware of these meetings.

Note that  PSA has arrangements with parking stations in Roper Street and Wyatt Street Adelaide. Members using these car parks whilst attending meetings at the PSA building should bring their parking docket to the PSA reception to enable the Association to meet their parking costs.
