PSA REPRESENTATION IN DFEEST

PSA Representation improving in DFEEST

The PSA are working hard to improve PSA representation within DFEEST. Already, a number of PSA members have put their hand up to ensure that their colleague's voices are heard by Management. If you do not have a PSA Representative in your area please contact Brett Capes on the number or email address listed below. Effective union representation in the workplace is essential in the current climate and improves local conditions and staff morale. PSA holds local workplace reps meetings regularly to discuss your issues and educate members on industrial matters.

Positioning TAFE

While the restructure known as “Positioning TAFE” has officially been completed there are still some lingering issues in particular areas that must be addressed. Many staff deemed “out of scope” and not affected by the “Positioning TAFE” process have issues around their own structures. These staff have a range of concerns around duties, staffing levels and classification levels. Contact your local Representative if you have any concerns arising from this process.

DFEEST Consultation

The PSA continue to consult regularly with DFEEST management. PSA Reps and Officials meet regularly with Chief Executive Brian Cunningham, as well as with local managers and human resource consultants. These meetings serve to inform PSA members of impending changes and to resolve any issues that have been discussed at the local PSA Rep meetings.
