CAMPAIGN TO VALUE PUBLIC SECTOR WORKERS

The Public Service Association today unveiled the first phase of a significant new advertising campaign to highlight the value of public sector workers to our State.

Launching a $50,000 billboard advertising blitz, PSA General Secretary Jan McMahon said: “This first stage of our advertising campaign aims to highlight the enormous value of the work performed by our public sector workforce”.

The billboards show a representative range of public sector workers, demonstrating the vital need our community has for good people providing essential public services.

In preparing the Budget, the value of the excellent work people like those displayed on our billboards perform for us all, often under very difficult and at times dangerous circumstances, needs to be recognised.

The first posters were launched today, with a progressive roll out over coming days.

The giant bill board posters were launched at a widely covered media event at the corner of Anzac Highway and Marion Rd, Plympton (Hertz site). A second poster is at 16 Glen Osmond Rd, Eastwood (Cappo Seafood site).

Posters may be viewed here.
