TRANSFER OF
EMPLOYEES FROM THE OFFICE OF COUNTRY HEALTH, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.
The
PSA/CPSU has been informed that the Office for Country Health and the
7 Country Health Regions ceased to exist on the 30th June 2006 due to
the establishment of Country Health SA Incorporated.
The
Office for Country Health has a number of staff employed pursuant to
the PSM Act who are within the scope for inclusion in the Country
Health SA Inc organisational structure.
To facilitate the
transfer of these staff from the Public Sector Management Act to the
South Australian Health Commission Act each staff member will receive
advice from the Department Chief Executive advising of their transfer
from the Department of Health to Country Health SA Inc.
Effective
From the first pay date in July 2006, staff will cease to have their
payroll needs serviced through the Southern Adelaide Health Service
and that Wakefield Regional Health Service will become responsible
for their payroll and human resource management.
The
Department has informed the PSA/CPSU that these changes will not
impact on the current pay fortnights, however the staff will no
longer be able to receive payslips in electronic format but will
receive paper based payslips.
