WORKCOVER CUTS

At it's June meeting the WorkCover Board decided to dismantle the Employee Advocate Unit and to abolish two liaison positions. In addition, the Board is considering proposals to outsource current WorkCover responsibilities to private organisations.

PSA/CPSU is actively supporting affected members and is seeking the intervention of the Premier to ensure that WorkCover complies with the Government's "No Privatisations" policy.
