PSA SOCIAL WORK INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE

NOTICE OF MEETING

THURSDAY 17 AUGUST 2006

        12.30 PM

        JIM OTTE ROOM. 2ND FLOOR, PSA BUILDING, 122 PIRIE STREET, ADELAIDE

The objective of this industrial committee is to further the salaries, status and conditions of the PSA members.

This is to be achieved both within and outside of the Enterprise Bargaining process.

The most recent meeting of this Committee considered the PSA log of claims for a new Enterprise Agreement.

The PSA intends pursuing improvements to career progression through using and changing the classification system and criteria.

Formal negotiations on the full log of claims will commence shortly and a progress report will be provided to the meeting.

A key role of this industrial committee will be to assist in providing input into the negotiation process over issues of specific relevance to Social Workers.
