For current level 1 PSO/MS at the top increment the offer is to translate to the 6th increment PO/MeS/1 as at 1/10/06 ($54, 854) and then at 1/10/07 be eligible to move to the 7th level PO1. The Manager levels, allocated to MS/PSO levels 3,4 and 5 are removed in the new structure, with a management loading of $1,750 available to MeS/PO 3, 4 and 5 with management responsibilities. Prior to 1/10/06 to be eligible for a managerial classification the employee had to report directly to an Executive level or equivalent salary position. Many more employees would now be be eligible. New Draft Work Level Definitions “subject to further discussion” have been provided for each level. The current classification criteria would then not apply.
