NATIONAL
DAY OF UNION AND COMMUNITY ACTION
THURSDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2006 AT 8.00 AM ELDER PARK ADELAIDE November 30th is approaching fast. Following last year's successful national hook-up, it is expected this year's community event will see the largest gathering of Australian workers and their families to protest against the Federal Government's WorkChoices legislation. It is imperative that South Australian workers remind the Federal Government that their radical industrial relations laws will not be forgotten. Although many PSA members are protected from Australian Workplace Agreements, it is essential that members support fellow workers. In relation to bus transport to Elder Park for PSA members, a timetable is currently being finalised. It is anticipated that details will be provided to members in the coming week. November 30th is an event that is hosted by Unions and broadcast across the country, including regional South Australia.
