WORKCOVER REVIEW The Minister for Government enterprises, the Hon Michael Wright, today announced an independent Review will be held into the WorkCover scheme. The review will be headed by Mr Alan Clayton and assisted by Mr John Walsh, an actuary to the NSW Workers Compensation Authority. The Government states that their work will be supported by professional staff at Price Waterhouse Coopers. PSA General Secretary Jan McMahon stated “that PSA will look to ensure that the entitlements of injured workers are not reduced, and that proper protections are put into place for WorkCover staff”. “PSA received no prior consultation about the Review despite the fact that PSA represents WorkCover staff”. PSA will be making a submission to the Review and invites feedback from members. For
