The PSA and other unions attended the briefing on the morning of Thursday 20 September 2007, held by Hon. Gail Gago MLC, the Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, on the 'Concept Master Plan' for the Glenside Hospital Campus Site.

The PSA expressed its concern at only being advised of the meeting on the evening of Wednesday 19 September 2007.

This is the first phase of consultation, with the opportunity for input into the planning of new models of service prior to the development of the actual site plans, which will be built under a private investment funding model.  The Minister advised that support services will not be outsourced.
