DOMICILIARY CARE SA
PO STREAM WORKING GROUP

There are a number of issues that affect Public Service Association members classified in the Professional Stream. Due to the specificity of the issues relating to PO members, a Working Group will need to be established.

The purpose of the Working Group is to provide members with a forum to raise and discuss the issues and concerns that apply specifically to them. The Group will be responsible for communicating these issues to management, and will provide members another avenue of consultation.

Worksite Representative David Sunderland is the first member on board. Ideally a member representative from each Allied Health Discipline should be a member of the Working Group.

Current issues affecting members in the PO Stream are:
  • Incremental assessment, i.e one-off 6th to 7th increment assessment and future 5th to 6th increment assessments;

  • Multi disciplinary teams and equitable remuneration;

  • Future direction for Allied Health Professionals within Domiciliary Care SA.
It is important that members contribute to this collaborative group. Success will depend on many factors, chief amongst them is solidarity of members and their contributions.

If you have any questions or concerns that you would like raised, please contact PSA Worksite Representative David Sunderland on 8440 6753 or david.sunderland@dfc.sa.gov.au or PSA Industrial Officer Jean-Guy Townsend on 8205 3233 or jgt@cpsu.asn.au
