On Thursday 13 December 2007 the ballot count was conducted for the Novita Children's Services Collective Agreement. The count was conducted in the presence of the Novita Work Place Agreement Consultative Committee.

The ballot result established that the 2007 Novita Collective Agreement has been accepted by the majority of staff who voted.

Novita management will now lodge the Agreement with the Workplace Authority.

When the Collective Agreement has been acknowledged by the Workplace Authority, arrangements will be made for the pay office to process all back pay entitlements. It is intended that these payments will be effected prior to Christmas.
