BOUNDARY REALIGNMENT UPDATE
Public Service Association Worksite Representatives Angela Giles, Craig Martin and Teri Farley, and PSA Industrial Officer Vanessa Ravenhill, met with Department for Families and Communities and Families SA management representatives on Wednesday 9 January 2008. This was the first of a series of meetings that will be convened in line with the consultative processes identified in the (draft) Human Resources Management Principles - Families SA Boundary Realignment Project. Meetings will occur on a regular basis, and the invitation to provide comments on behalf of PSA members in the affected worksites to PSA Industrial staff, and/or to attend, is extended to all Worksite Representatives in District Centres. It was agreed that the approved minutes of these meetings will be posted on the Families SA Intranet. Several documents were tabled for discussion and feedback sought from those present. All documents in final draft format will be distributed for comment via the Families SA Intranet. PSA members are encouraged to raise any questions or concerns to the email address established late December 2007, and include a copy to their PSA worksite representative and Industrial Officer Vanessa Ravenhill on vr@cpsu.asn.au PSA Industrial staff will attend the video link meetings established for country staff on January 10, 11 and 14, and the meeting and at Murray Bridge District Centre on January 21. Ros Wilson, Manager, Business Planning and Development, and a DFC Human Resources Consultant have been invited to attend the Families SA Worksite Representatives meeting on Tuesday 5 February at 2.30pm to discuss the Boundary Realignment Project as part of the consultative process.
