Public
Service Association Worksite Representatives Craig Martin, Teri
Farley, Linda Johnson, Josie Piercy and Debbie McPherson and
Industrial Officer, Vanessa Ravenhill, attended the Boundary
Realignment Project Consultative Committee meeting on Monday 3 March
2008.
At
this meeting it was again stated that registrations of interest to
relocate will be open to all District Centre staff. However, staff
who meet the country service requirements will be given priority
consideration, along with staff from the offices most affected by the
realignment, being Aberfoyle Park, Enfield, Modbury, Murray Bridge
and Noarlunga.
This
is consistent with the Human Resource Management Principles which
state under clause 13 “Terms and Conditions Of Employment” that
all terms and conditions for non executive staff who are required to
transfer to different locations will be those generally applicable to
employees covered by the SA Govt Wages Parity (Salaried) Enterprise
Agreements and relevant DFC Human Resource Policies.
Every
effort will be made to release the “Registration of Interest”
application form via email on Tuesday 11 March 2008.
PSA
has been asked to forward nominations for the Placement Panel(s) and
Grievance Panel(s).
The Placement Panel will consist of a District
Centre Manager, a Human Resource Consultant and and a staff
representative.
The
Grievance panel will be established to hear grievances relating to
the relocation of staff resulting from the implementation of the
State Government regions and will consist of an Independent
chairperson external to Families SA, a Human Resource Consultant and
a nominee of the PSA.
Worksite
Representatives and interested members not applying for relocation,
are encouraged to lodge an expression of interest to participate in
either/both of these panels by forwarding their name to PSA
Industrial Officer Vanessa Ravenhill by email on vr@cpsu.asn.au
no later than 12.00 noon Wednesday 12th March 2008.
Any
further queries please contact on Vanessa Ravenhill on email:
